Description

Npacp 1.86

Found this bug
https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?t=114391

When I run Wireshark on host it kills guest network for Oracle VirtualBox which the host is a windows 10 and I use Intel PROSet adapter to make VLAN's that the guest VM uses.

I then did some testing by installing older Npacp version and found V1.6 does not have this problem and newer has this problem.

Research direction

No source file or test is identified. Start by reviewing the linked VirtualBox forum report and reproducing the failure with Npcap 1.86 versus 1.6, Wireshark on the Windows 10 host, and the VirtualBox guest using the Intel PROSet VLAN adapter. Done means the guest network remains usable while capturing on the host.
