"Hi,
I keep getting this error message every time I try to install Npcap: 'Failed to create the npcap service: 0x8007007e'. It never works, no matter what I do.
I've tried everything:
- Reinstalling it many times.
- Turning off Windows Defender / security completely.
- Downloading and installing the C++ redistributables and other libraries.
- Running the installer as Administrator every time.
- Using the latest installer from the official website.
Nothing works. The program refuses to install or run at all.
I'm using Windows 11 Pro, 64 bit
Please help, I'm stuck."
