Description
Initially failed install as part of Wireshark-win64-4.0.2 (with npcap 1.71). I cancelled the install but it doesnt appear to have cleaned up and has left the NPCAP Packet Driver listed on the Ethernet Adapter.
I have also tried the NPCAP stand alone installer which also fails.

However, the packet driver is listed on the Ethernet Adapter

Trying to 'Uninstall' the driver fails

Any help appreciated

Research direction
Start by reading the attached NPFInstall.log and comparing the failed Wireshark-win64-4.0.2 installation with the standalone NPCAP installer on Windows 10. Investigate why the NPCAP Packet Driver remains listed on the Ethernet Adapter and why uninstalling it fails. Done means the installation and cleanup path works without leaving the driver in a failed state.
