Description

Npcap Loopback Adapter doesn't not find any IP addresses with standard user. When we read the error, it says access denied.
We tried using NPCAP version 1.31 and version 1.6.

Please note that this issue was not found in NPCAP .99 (2019) version. So looks like there is some changes done in NPCAP after version .99.
How to resolve the above issue? Also what is the change done between .99 and later versions regarding accessing or finding IPAddresses via standard user.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the Npcap Loopback Adapter behavior as a standard user on Npcap 1.31 and 1.6, then compare it with version .99. Investigate the reported access-denied error and identify the change affecting IP-address discovery; done means the cause and a supported resolution are documented.
