NIC card disappears post reboot after installing NPCAP

Description
Installed NPCAP on server 2012R2 Standard.
Rebooted the server.
After reboot, NIC card was missing. In device manager, found that NIC is having yellow exclamation mark with error "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)".
