Description

Description of feature

When creating a new Pipeline, it is possible to set a specific git branch name as default branch. Historically the default in git has been "master" - but the git community moves away fro that.

This PR introduces the capability of the backend to handle custom default branch names #1959

Research direction

Start with the referenced discussion in pull request #1959, especially comment discussion_r1000427117, and trace how the CLI creates a new Pipeline. Done means the CLI exposes the ability to set a custom default git branch name instead of assuming "master".
