Description

The git clones / repo views per day plots are brilliant, but as we continue to collect data they are getting a little crowded. Would perhaps be good to default to showing the previous... 2 months? then have an option to zoom out to view the full data.

If we want to get really fancy, it could be nice to use a more powerful plotting tool so that we can have a range slider. eg. Plotly.

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Locate the code that generates the git clones and repository views per day plots, then determine how the current time range is selected; done should provide a less crowded default view of roughly two months and a way to inspect the full history, potentially with a range slider.
