Further Information

I plan to add a new nf-core module for genoflu.

Tool: GenoFLU
Version: 1.07
Conda: bioconda::genoflu=1.07
License: GPL-3.0
Publication: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37572517/

GenoFLU is a USDA-developed tool for classifying HPAI H5N1 clade 2.3.4.4b viruses detected in North American flyways. It takes a FASTA file containing all eight influenza gene segments and uses BLAST-based alignment against a curated reference database to assign genotypes, including detection of reassortment events between Eurasian and North American viruses. Output is a TSV and XLSX with match statistics per segment.
