Description

I'd expect this behavior

abc
d|ef

;; press arrow up

a|bc
def

Instead it jumps around! Sometimes to the end of the line, sometimes to the previous cursor column in a the navigated-to line. And sometimes it just works albeit with little quirks:

Research direction

Start by reproducing the arrow-up navigation behavior in the Clojure/Script CodeMirror 6 mode, using the example and linked video as the expected scenario. Trace how cursor positions are handled when moving between lines, then verify that navigation preserves the intended column consistently.
