Description

The Nextcloud application checks that Nextcloud.WebHome exists to check that the Nextcloud extension is installed. The "Prevent unregistered users from viewing pages, regardless of the page rights" feature breaks this check.

We need to find out something to support this setting, maybe by having a route managed in Java in the Nextcloud extension instead.

Research direction

Start by tracing how the Nextcloud application checks for Nextcloud.WebHome and inspect how the Nextcloud extension handles routes. Determine how the unregistered-user viewing restriction affects that check, then verify that extension installation detection still works when the setting is enabled.
