Description
Hi, and thanks for your work on the Whiteboard app!
Please consider adding:
- an option to force a white canvas background in Whiteboard, independent of the global Nextcloud theme, or
- a light/dark toggle specifically for the board canvas.

Research direction
Start by tracing how the Whiteboard canvas background currently follows the global Nextcloud theme and where board appearance options are exposed. Add a canvas-specific light/dark or forced-white choice, then verify that the canvas remains white when Nextcloud is in dark mode and that existing theme behavior is preserved when no choice is made.
