The current image editor has many problems regarding accessibility.
But also for usability and features it has many issues, sadly it is unmaintained as well.
A market analysis showed there are no maintained libraries for image editing available which satisfy our quality requirements and are open source.
@skjnldsv will have a look into our options here starting with https://github.com/nextcloud-libraries/nextcloud-image-editor
