Research direction
Start by reviewing the viewer's existing handling for media formats that browsers cannot display inline, then check the linked Nextcloud iOS and Photos issues for related decisions. Confirm current browser support for JPEG XL and identify the viewer entry points involved. Done means JXL files display in the web viewer as intended, with any iOS work aligned with the linked issue.
