Description
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When I think of a task to put in tasks it always seems easier and better to put it on the calendar to keep it all together. It seems about the same as stretching an event across multiple days and putting tasks in the description. If there were more notifications to keep the tasks feeling alive, I think it would help.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to be able to set a notification that repeats at a certain interval, for instance every 2nd day until due.
Maybe, every Tuesday until due.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I just use the calendar so it is all together, but I hope this feature would make a good reason to use tasks more.
Additional context
I know you can set a notification at a specific day and a time before the task is due but, this would give the task a more alive feeling and help keep you reminded even when a task could be done at any point in a period, but you do not know you will be free.

Research direction
Start with issue #3018 and clarify which repeating intervals, weekday rules, and end conditions the feature must support. Done means users can configure recurring task notifications that continue until the task is due, with the behavior agreed in the issue.
