Steps to reproduce
- Have app installed on ubuntu and pinned to task bar
- Have recieved messages and read on a different device
- The app pinned should show a number for unread messages (e.g. 3)
- Read the messages from the desktop app as well.
- The notification item (3) persists.
Expected behaviour
After reading messages the notification icon should disappear from the pinned app icon.
Actual behaviour
Notification persists even after reading the messages/restart app.
