Description
Hi,
I'm using Talk a lot on the phone for chats and it's really important to get notifications.
Notifications are working in general (as when mentioned with '@'). I also can enable the option to always get notifications, but this is per chat.
What I am missing: A global option in the app to set the notification behaviour (none, when mentioned, always).
Is such a feature planned for the future?

Research direction
The issue mentions only the existing per-chat notification option and no files or tests. Start by locating that setting and the app's general settings entry point, then determine how the three requested behaviors should apply globally. Done means a global choice for none, mentions, or always is available and works consistently across chats.
