Displays connecting message even though call is running and working

Steps to reproduce

1. Join a call with audio only with around 10+ participants
2. Set self to muted listen
3. Walk around with mobile phone, which might cause variations of the wifi signal (I was doing that, not sure if it's the cause)
4. Be unlucky 🍀

Expected behaviour

Call stays as is.

Actual behaviour

At some point, the screen showed "Connecting..."

I could still hear participants talking.

The most scary bit is that the mute button, which was muted all along suddenly showed that I was unmuted. Not sure if anyone could hear me then, I didn't want to disturb the meeting.
I was able to mute myself despite the "Connecting" message and no one mentioned hearing anything from me.

Start by reproducing the audio-only call scenario with 10+ participants and intermittent Wi-Fi changes on Android. Capture Logcat at the reported event time, 11:17:37 CEST, because the issue currently provides no logs, source files, tests, or entry point. Done means the call remains usable without a misleading “Connecting...” state and the mute indicator accurately reflects the participant’s state.
