Description
Feature request:
Adding an option in the application settings (slider) to enable or disable the automatic blanking of the display for a conversation.
Currently, the display is still on for the conversation. This is very useful when typing. But there are users who leave the smartphone for active conversation (a habit from other conversation apps). This causes the battery to discharge unnecessarily. Adding an option in Talk app settings to allow it to be set as you wish would solve the problem.

Research direction
Start by locating the Talk Android application settings and the conversation screen's current display or screen-timeout behavior. Determine how a user-controlled slider should enable or disable automatic blanking while preserving the existing behavior for typing; done means the setting reliably controls blanking for a conversation.
