Description

When I get email notifications for chat messages in Nextcloud Talk conversations, the full content of the message is included. Suggestion: provide a way to mark whole conversations or individual messages private, sensitive, or confidential so they aren't, for example, included in an email.

Research direction

The issue names Nextcloud Talk conversations and email notifications but no files, tests, or implementation entry point. Start by locating the notification path and clarify whether privacy applies to whole conversations, individual messages, or both. Done should mean marked content is excluded from email notifications, with the expected behavior defined and tested.
