Description

Is your feature request related to a problem?
It's hard to get my daughter with an iPhone to switch over to our private NC Talk app, so any features that the Apple people do in their proprietary messaging app would be great to help me get her to stop MMSing and SMSing me on my Android.

Describe the solution you'd like
Add the ability to take the GIF links from the mobile keyboards and turn them into some sort of localized shared image in the conversation thread.

Describe alternatives you've considered
The Talk app could add it's own widget that collects a GIF search engine to insert externally linked graphics.

Additional context
If the feature request for formatting tools is implemented as discussed in #1027 maybe this could just be another tool in the tray?

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by reviewing the formatting-tools discussion in #1027 and how mobile keyboard GIF links should be handled. Done means defining and implementing a clear way to turn those links into localized shared images in the conversation thread.
