Description
- have a big chat room
- @mention a person that is out of office / vacation / sick
- The "popup" only shows a part of it, and when typing fast can easily be overseen
Thus:
After sending the message, show a "permanent" reply to me (only to me), stating that the person is on vacation.
Similar to the 1:1 chat.

Research direction
Start with the mention handling in the big chat room and compare it with the existing 1:1 chat behavior for vacation or out-of-office information. Define how the sent message should trigger a private, persistent inline reply, then verify that the recipient's status is shown after sending and is not limited to the popup.
