Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I am looking to migrate from Mattermost to Talk. Mattermost allows export of channel into a CSV file.
I'd like to be able to move channel data over to Talk.
Describe the solution you'd like
An Import too that takes the CSV file and allows a mapping of users from Mattermost to Nextcloud Users, or creates a dummy entry for any user not mapped, and then imports the message history.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Accepting the loss of data on transition.

Research direction
Start by inspecting the attached Mattermost CSV example and documenting its columns, user mapping needs, and message-history requirements. Then locate the Talk import boundaries; done means mapped users, dummy entries for unmapped users, and channel messages can be imported from the export with appropriate coverage.
