Steps to reproduce

I am sitting in a self-hosted session right now. Unfortunately, the session somehow got out of sync and I do not know what happened there exactly. It was not possible for a remote (guest) user to reconnect. There are 3 persons plus me in the call.

  1. As Admin of the call, I clicked on Terminate call for all
  2. I reopened the call again
Expected behaviour

All other participants are disabled (calls ended). After my reopening, I am alone in the room and the others can join again.

Actual behaviour

I leave the meeting. Upon rejoining, all previous users are still there. The new user (who would like to rejoin) cannot join the room. In fact, he is in a room with the same name (URL slug) bit is otherwise empty (Waiting for more participants os shown).

Server log (data/nextcloud.log)

There is way too much logged. I do not know what to look for. I just _tail_ed the last 3000 lines here: https://gist.github.com/christianlupus/fc202cee0863e459360cfe511195fe78

Research direction

Start by reproducing the failure in Nextcloud Talk 21.1.5 with the configured signaling server, then review the provided browser console export and server log. The fix is complete when terminating a call for all participants removes them and reopening the call lets them rejoin the same room.
