Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
In webinars, I would like to turn on my camera, but then my video bubble covers part of the slides (top left - usually a place to put headings = important).

Describe the solution you'd like
Options I see:

  1. Move the speaker video bubble to the bottom right by default, both for user view and recording view - then it is easier to leave space in the presentation there. (would be nice to know the dimensions of the space that needs to be free in the presentations)
  2. Create an option to hide speaker video from recordings
  3. my favourite: In recordings, record the full dimensions of the screen share, and add the speaker video on the top right side. So output video dimensions will be bigger than original screenshare. Speaker video will never hide content. Uncovered space should be black. Maybe later add options to brand the blank space, add custom logo/colors. Mockup:

What do you think?

My favourite is option 3.

Research direction

The issue names no file, test, or entry point; begin by locating the recording and screen-sharing paths in the repository and clarify which of the three proposed layouts is intended. Done requires an agreed recording behavior that keeps shared-slide content visible and a verified recording result.
