Feature request
Since we disabled recording consent on our instance, I way too often forget to enable the recording. In the past I was forced to "accept" the consent which force reminded me about starting it.

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by tracing the JavaScript call UI's recording-consent flow and recording toggle, then clarify the expected behavior with maintainers before choosing an implementation. Done means the new option reliably starts recording when consent is disabled, with appropriate tests for the setting.
