Avatar status overlay has a distinctly visible border

Steps to reproduce

1. Go into a 1on1 chat
2. Look at the avatar status overlay in the navigation / conversation list

Expected behaviour

The status indicator overlays the avatar nicely and without extra border, both in general and active state. See Discord:

Actual behaviour

There is a distinct circle around the status indicator visible when it’s on a primary background (here in dark mode):

Reproduce the issue in a 1-on-1 chat by checking the avatar status overlay in the navigation or conversation list, using dark mode in Firefox. Trace the overlay styling from that UI entry point and verify that the status indicator blends into the avatar without a visible circular border in general and active states.
