Feature request

Maybe this was already discussed during the dashboard design, but I couldn't find it.

With the new dashboard we have now "Start meeting", which allows us to create an "instant meeting", that is automatically deleted after 1 day by default. This option is only available on the dashboard. So to start an instant meeting while in a conversation, one first has to drop to the dashboard to then create the meeting. (and understand, that the option is only there)

I think we should consider adding this option to the "add" menu as well, so it is reachable even outside the dashboard.

Research direction

Start by comparing the dashboard's "Start meeting" action with the conversation view's "add" menu. Trace how an instant meeting is created and how menu actions are registered. Done means the same instant-meeting option is reachable from a conversation, with the existing one-day deletion behavior preserved.
