Feature request

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

  • It is confusing (is it the only preview, or what others will see?)
  • As a switch it is only useful in a specific case — checking with the virtual background with the text on the image

Describe the solution you'd like

  • Show mirrored by default (comfortable for users), without the current switch
  • On the Virtual Background settings page add a switch for preview

Describe alternatives you've considered

  • Show PiP preview with the unmirrored image in a small preview on top of the mirrored preview

Research direction

Start by locating the media settings preview and the current “mirrored view” switch in the JavaScript frontend. Review the virtual background settings flow and existing preview behavior, then confirm that the preview is mirrored by default and that a separate preview switch is available there.
