Feature request

Which Nextcloud Version are you currently using: (see administration page)

20.0.4

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

For better usability it would be nice to have the option to hide conversations until something happens in them. I know I can already filter for conversations with unread messages but that is not quite the same. I like to hide them and if someone wrote something the conversation automatically reappears in the overview.

Describe the solution you'd like
Possibility to hide chats like you can do in rocket.chat.

cheers!

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by reviewing the current conversation overview and its unread-message filtering, then compare the requested hide-and-reappear behavior with the Rocket.Chat reference. Done means a clear design and implementation scope for hiding chats and revealing them after activity.
