Description

⚠️ This issue respects the following points: ⚠️
Bug description

When interacting with files or folders in the Files app, it is possible to open two different action menus simultaneously.

If a user opens the action menu via the 3-dot button on a file or folder and then performs a right-click on another file or folder, both menus remain visible and overlap on the page.

This results in two active popup menus triggered by different user interactions at the same time, which can lead to UI confusion and incorrect actions.

The issue occurs in both list view and grid view.

Steps to reproduce
  1. Open the Files app in a browser.
  2. Click the 3-dot menu button of any file or folder.
  3. Without closing that menu, right-click another file or folder.
  4. Observe that both popup menus remain visible simultaneously.
Expected behavior

Two action popups are visible at the same time:
• one triggered by the 3-dot menu
• one triggered by the right-click context menu

These overlap on the same page.

Expected behavior

Opening a new action menu should automatically close any previously opened menu, ensuring that only one popup menu is active at a time.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the behavior in the Files app in both list and grid views, then trace how the 3-dot action menu and right-click context menu are opened. The fix is complete when opening one action menu closes any previously open menu so only one popup remains visible.
