Description

I am not too sure, what the intended process is for setting up a new project/team. At the moment I have to decide if I want to make it a group or a team. I have to go create a folder and share it with the team/group. Then I go to Deck an create a new board and share it with the group.

It would be cool, if there was an assistent for a new project, that asks you, which ressources you need:

  1. Name the project
  2. Set up a team with the same name
  3. Do you need a folder? Choose an existing one or create a new one. Add more project folders if needed.
  4. Do you need a chat? Choose an existing one or create a new one. Add more project chat if needed.
  5. Do you need a deck? Choose an existing one or create a new one. Add more project deck if needed.
  6. Do you need a calendar? Choose an existing one or create a new one. Add more project calendar if needed.
  7. and so on for all apps that support this new workflow
  8. Add users to the team (internal users AND external/federated users)
  9. Create all this stuff and share it with the team

I guess it would be good to have a place where you can see and administer the stuff that is shares with the team.

I hope this makes sense.

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by clarifying the scope and reviewing the existing group/team sharing flows across folders, chat, Deck, and calendar. Done would require an agreed project setup assistant that creates or selects these resources, adds users, shares them with the team, and provides a place to administer them.
