Currently notifications are sent when apps are updated. I'd like to request notifications for when apps are disabled by the server. The upgrade to version 16 and 16.0.1 both disabled quite a few apps. Thanks for considering!

Research direction

No files or tests are named in the issue. Start by locating the existing notification flow for app updates and the server-upgrade handling that disables apps; done means users receive a notification when an app is disabled during an upgrade, with coverage for that behavior.
