Description
Current behavior
The field when sharing a file via mail is of the type “password”. This causes my password manager to insert my password automatically.
Also, a password isn't automatically generated for this field.
Wanted behavior
Using the same behavior as with the link share, would be imo better (type = "test" instead of “password” and autofilling it with a generated password). Not only would my problem be solved, but it would enhance the consistency and thus the user experience.

Research direction
Start by locating the mail-share password field and compare its behavior with the link-share field. Confirm how the two fields are typed and whether the link-share flow generates a password; done means mail sharing matches that behavior and the password manager no longer autofills it unexpectedly.
