Hello,

Before we were using an application (Custom Menu) to manage the cloud menu icons, sort them and hide the one we don't need.

In recent versions, you added the possibility to sort the menu icons without the need of an extra application.

This is very nice, but I feel there are 2 things missing (we would like to stop using custom Menu app that is good but also do things we don't like):

• the possibility to hide the menu icons we want,
• the possibility to have an admin choose the right arrangement for the menu icons with the option to not let the users change it.¹

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
With the way you did it, we don't have lots of maneuver to decide the menu icons we want.
Only the users can sort them atm.

Describe the solution you'd like
For each users, the possibility to sort or hide icons, but only those the admin choose to show.

That way, if we want to test an application, we can do it and hide the icon menu during the experiments.

Start by reviewing the existing app-menu behavior and the referenced discussions in issues 4917 and 52210, along with the supplied UI example. Define how users hide and sort icons, how an administrator limits visible apps, and verify that the menu reflects those settings for both roles.
