Bug description

I installed Nextcloud 27.0.0 using sqlite (old version on purpose).
Then I went to the /settings/admin/overview page and expected it to list me the update to 27.1.2.
This should be the case since 27.1.2 is a stable release and stable is selected by default.

When opening the Update channel selection, I can see, that stable is selected:

How ever only after selecting "stable" once more and reloading the page, I get the update listed:

Research direction

Start at /settings/admin/overview and the update-channel selection behavior described in the report. Trace how a fresh installation obtains and refreshes release information; done means the page detects the available stable update immediately after installation or supports the requested on-demand check.
