Description

Wouldn't make sense to have a "ignored files" config for server, so to avoid having to config manually all clients? For files in the ignored list that are uploaded with the web GUI, the web GUI could show a warning icon saying "this file will not be synced to clients".

Or maybe a way to "broadcast" the list to all clients?

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by tracing the server's ignored-file handling, client synchronization, and web GUI upload flow; the issue needs a decided scope before implementation, including whether to broadcast the list, show upload warnings, or both.
