Description

⚠️ This issue respects the following points: ⚠️
Bug description

Modified dates in the Files web interface will receive updates to the file's modified time, but they are not computed with the current time. The effect of this is that if I edit a file in Collabora for 19 minutes, when I exit, the modified time will be shown as "in 19 minutes" until a state refresh occurs (refreshing the page, re-navigating to the folder, etc).

Steps to reproduce
  1. Have a file in Files
  2. Edit in Collabora or do something similar for a couple minutes
  3. Exit Collabora/similar
  4. Observe time being in the future ("in X minutes")
Expected behavior

Time should display as "now" or "a few seconds ago", which occurs on refresh.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue in the Files web interface: edit a file through Collabora, exit, and observe the modified-time display without refreshing. Trace how the interface updates the file timestamp after the edit and compare it with the value shown after navigation or a page refresh. Done means the display shows the current time immediately after the update.
