Description
⚠️ This issue respects the following points: ⚠️
- I agree to follow Nextcloud's Code of Conduct.
Describe the goal you'd like to achieve
As a Nextcloud user I want to embed polls in other Nextcloud items.
Interactive Widgets are designed to enhance links between items in a cloud instance. Instead of presenting a pure link that requires the user to follow the link and switch the page or load a new tab in the browser, an embedded, reduced ui to the linked item is presented.
The Polls app does not implement the Interactive Widget Framework yet.
Describe possible solutions
No response
Additional context
The OP's original scenario is a Deck board where discussions and decisions of a committee are managed. Discussions happen in the board's cards. Having embedded polls in the cards would enable voting (i.e. decision making) in the specified scenario.
I can imagine, that embedding polls in other combinations of Nextcloud apps are more than useful too.

Research direction
Start by reading the linked Interactive Widgets guide and compare its framework requirements with the Polls app. No files or tests are named; done would mean polls can be embedded as reduced interactive widgets in other Nextcloud apps, including Deck cards.
