Steps to reproduce
- Install app freshly on a device, so permission approvals are still undefined
- Attempt to login to a Nextcloud server on the local network via IP address, in example
192.168.178.21
Expected behaviour
Login page should appear as usual.
Actual behaviour
- Network request fails, app states apparent lack of internet connection.
- iOS asks user for confirmation that the app is allowed to search the local network for devices.
- User has to tap login again.
Server
Latest Nextcloud Docker image.
Browser
Inapplicable.
Notes
This is important to consider as part of #97.

Research direction
Review the related issue #97 first, then reproduce this on a freshly installed iOS app using a Nextcloud server on a local IP address. Trace the login request through the local-network permission prompt; done means the first login attempt succeeds without incorrectly reporting no internet access.
