Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
It's not related to a problem, more a preference.

Describe the solution you'd like
I would like an option in the settings to force me to enter a PIN when the app starts, before I can view my notes. The settings option could either be to specify a separate PIN, which I can also configure in the settings, or I can tell the app to prompt me to enter the PIN configured for the phone/system. If that makes sense.

I realise this may seem odd, given I have to enter my PIN to get to the home screen so I can start the Notes app. However, if someone knows my PIN they can unlock the phone and immediately have access to my notes. So an optional, additional layer of security would be very useful. If it's configurable, people that don't want this could leave it disabled.

Describe alternatives you've considered
I haven't considered any alternatives.

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the app's settings screen and startup flow, then determine how an optional PIN can be configured and checked before notes are shown. Done means the setting can be enabled or disabled, a PIN can be configured, and the app prompts for and validates it at launch.
