Description

Currently the project is still using Swift 5. To stay up with the technical developments, a migration to Swift 6 should be pursued rather sooner than later. This will also require code changes, especially in regards to concurrency.

This is part of improving the developer experience and making the project more agile in maintenance by reducing technical debt.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the project’s Swift version and build configuration, then identify the concurrency-related code that must change for Swift 6. No files or tests are named, so map the affected areas before estimating the work. Done means the iOS project builds with Swift 6 and its concurrency-related migration issues are resolved.
