[Widget] Blue bars and doesn't take me directly to edit, always new note

This issue respects the following points:

• I have searched for existing issues
• The issue affects the Notes Android app, neither the Notes server app nor the Nextcloud Android app.

Describe the bug

When I have the widget on the home screen it now shows large blue bars over weird sections of the text as if it is a rendering issue. This only started happening in the last half week or so.

Additionally when I click/tap on any of the notes in the list it now just takes me to creating a new note, instead of editing/viewing the one I clicked/tapped on.

Expected behavior

I expect the blue bars to not block the text so I can actually read the name of the note, and when I click/tap on notes I want to edit/view that note, instead of creating yet another new note.

Start by reproducing the widget on Notes Android 4.4.1 with the listed Nextcloud and Android versions, then trace the widget rendering and note-item tap entry points. Done means note names are readable without blue bars and tapping an existing note opens that note for viewing or editing rather than creating a new one.
