Description
Describe the bug
When I modify a note (adding text or removing text) and hit "Cancel" in the menu, the modifications are still saved. The behaviour first appeared a month or two ago.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Open Notes app.
- Select a note.
- Edit the note by adding or removing text.
- Click the three dot menu in the upper, right corner.
- Hit Cancel.
- The spinning circle is shown briefly and the modifications to the note is saved.
Expected behavior
When hitting Cancel, I would expect any modification to the notes to be discarded.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the edit-and-Cancel flow in the Android Notes app using the reported steps and versions where possible. Done means changes made to a note are discarded after tapping Cancel, rather than saved; verify the behavior after editing both added and removed text.
