Description

Describe the bug
Unable to upload attachments. Tapping the attachments button does nothing. I saw other people are having the same issue in app reviews. I'm testing the beta version now, but the issue was originally happening on the current stable version, too.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open app.
  2. Create a new note.
  3. Switch to rich editor.
  4. Tap the attachments button. Nothing happens.

Expected behavior
Tapping the attachments button should allow uploading attachments.

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Nextcloud Notes-Version (android app): 4.1.0 RC1
  • F-Droid or Play Store: Play store
  • Android-Version: 13
  • Device: Pixel 6 Pro

Server

  • Nextcloud version: 26.0.5
  • Nextcloud Notes version (server app): 4.8.1

Research direction

Reproduce the failure in the Android app using Android 13, a Pixel 6 Pro, and the listed Notes server versions. Start at the rich editor's attachments button and trace why tapping it produces no upload flow. Done means attachments can be selected and uploaded from a new note in rich editor mode.
