Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I use notes for things like recipes, automotive history, etc. However 99% of the time I'm never looking at those notes. I'd like to be able to select a default category when opening the app, in my case, Uncategorized, so that I can easily ignore those notes.
Describe the solution you'd like
Add a settings option to select which category to start on (or uncategorized or all (default)) when opening the app.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Using favorites, but that would mean having a lot of favorites, and not being able to just pin my shopping list and random note to the top.
Additional context
I am willing to contribute if this feature is acceptable.

Research direction
No files or tests are named. Start by locating the settings screen and the code that chooses the initial category when the app opens. Define how the selected category, Uncategorized, and All should behave, then verify that the choice persists and is applied after reopening the app.
