Audio Playback Doesn't Open in Media Player

Selecting "Play audio in external player" only opens Auxio app. The tracks are not stored and cannot be played. Is ot possible to download them to an external file, so Auxio can pick them up? Alternatively, can you add the option to re-map the audio player, once selected?
