Description
I would love to see an option (should be deactivatable?) to get notifications about new mails when I am using lets say the contacts app or any other app in NC.
I would say it's enough if the app would check for new mails only every five minutes when not actively running though to save bandwidth, time and processing power.
Further if that comes a red dot on apps icon in nextcloud would also be nice.

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by tracing how the app detects new mail while another Nextcloud app is active, then determine where a configurable five-minute check and an app-icon notification would belong; done means both behaviors work without disrupting normal mail use and can be disabled.
