Description
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Plain text emails display correctly with the dark theme (dark background and white text), but rich text emails do not... and it hurts eyes.
| Plain text e-mail | Rich text e-mail |
|---|---|
I suggest adding a display setting that forces a light or dark background for rich emails, regardless of the overall theme, as already exists in Collabora Online:
| Collabora with light background | Collabora with dark background |
|---|---|

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the received rich-text (HTML) email renderer and the existing dark-theme handling for plain-text messages, then clarify the proposed light/dark display setting. Done should mean rich-text emails render with the selected background and readable text in both themes.
