Description
A family member wanted me to install Nextcloud for him to replace Outlook/Teams for meetings.
I installed both Talk and Jitsi to look at how each of them work.
- Currently, it is not possible to send a meeting request using the Nextcloud Mail app where the person can confirm if they will be present to that virtual meeting.
- It is also impossible to create a Jitsi meeting from the Calendar app
I suspect that the user on nextcloud need to create an event in the calendar with the person's email address and that is how appointment/meeting confirmation can get used, but there aren't any way to easily use Jitsi with those. I only see a Talk link being copied to the description of the event if a meeting is created with Talk (obvisouly).
Is there a way to extend this app to include such features? I'm not sure if this belongs here or on the Mail - Calendar app as I have no clue how Nextcloud apps interact with each other.
I found a link that shows outlook meeting link for Teams:

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by clarifying whether the requested work belongs in this Jitsi app or in the Nextcloud Mail or Calendar apps, then define the desired meeting-invitation and attendance-confirmation flow. Done would require an agreed scope and acceptance criteria for creating Jitsi meetings from Calendar and sending invitations.
