Description

Reporting issues should be easier with a guided wizard that provides the following steps:

  1. Select repository
  2. Enter title / Find existing issue to attach the issuetemplate to (https://github.com/nextcloud/issuetemplate/issues/8)
  3. Fill out issue description with steps to reproduce
  4. Fill out missing fields that require user input (e.g. Browser console log, android version, ...)
  5. Preview / Send report

First steps

  1. Read the whole issue, then the project's contributing guide.
  2. Comment on the issue to say you are picking it up — it saves two people doing the same work.
  3. Fork the repository and make your change on a branch.
  4. Open a pull request that references the issue number.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the existing issue-reporting flow and the linked issue-template discussion in issue #8. Define how the five requested steps—repository selection, title or issue attachment, description, missing fields, and preview/send—fit together. Done means a guided wizard supports the complete reporting workflow.
